Earlier this year in the month of March the beach has been uplifted for this weekends Easter weekend 2017. Easter weekend in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye is one of the busiest time of the year and one of the biggest celebrations on the island. Whether it’s celebration through religious activities, beach parties or sports activities the island is packed with visitors.


 Belizeans from all around the country travel to the island for this specific time of the year. If you are among the many looking to visit Belize this Easter, here are some thing to take into consideration. • Easter runs from Thursday, April 13th to Monday, April 17th • Most visitors flock to coastal destination such as San Pedro Town, Caye Caulker Village, Hopkins Village and the Placencia Peninsula • Book early, as most hotels are often out of occupancy during the Easter holidays • In Belize, Food Friday (April 14th) is observed as a dry day. Meaning no alcohol is sold at the stores or served at the restaurant and bars. This “Dry Friday” runs from midnight to midnight. However, you are still allowed to consume priory purchased alcoholic products with private property.

A part from San Pedro's biggest event on Easter weekend, the small island of Caye Caulker  is ram jam with locals and visitors. The area near the "Split" turns into a huge adult party over Easter weekend.  Latter I will outline some of the things you should know about that, but now let's focus on south of the "Sportsbar".  When you get south of that area Easter on Caye Caulker is completely different.  Activities tend to be aimed at kids and innocent fun.  Many of the companies on the island sponsor events like an Easter Egg hunt, water balloon fights and sack races.  If you're coming to the island over Easter and bringing young kids this is the area you want to hang around.  If you are going to come for Easter Weekend, consider booking a place on the south side of the island.  Anything north of the Airport and south of the school would put you in an area that is pretty quiet at night but close enough that a five-minute bike ride gets you to the split.

Every year in In the month of April the island is visited by millions of visitors on Easter Weekend. Easter weekend in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye is definitely one of the busiest weekend of the year and one of the popular weekend  celebrations on the island. Either  it’s celebration through religious activities, beach parties or sports activities the island is packed with visitors.The San Pedro Town Council made preparation since March. Belizeans from all around the country travel to the island for this specific time of the year. Hotels and golf cart rentals have to be booked months in advance because it is impossible to find one during that period.
Easter entertainment preparation for this year's event will take place on April 14,15 and 16, The San Pedro Town Council had already started to beautify the island in preparation of the masses to give them a warm welcome.

Band Fest 2017 was held at Orange Walk, Belize Inside People's Stadium

Belize Bandfest 2017 took place on Saturday April 8th, 2017 at the People’s Stadium in Orange Walk Town. 100's of people where already waiting for the event to commence. 9am at Corozal street, the marching bands marched down the streets of Orange Walk. When it started, the town was filled with music on various streets that passed on selected streets around town. The event was visited by thousands of spectators and supporters from around the country, of the thirteen bands who took part on this annual four hours event. Member of the Bandfest Committee, Julia Carillo shared some of the details of the much anticipated event. And, she thanks all the public on helping this event for the past 12 year's across Belize. Love Fm showed the event live on TV and live on radio. Sir Colville  Young and Anchor of Love FM Rene Villanueva Jr. where the one's who commenced this Marching Band. They've done quite a lot of work during this past 12 year's of Band Fest across the country.…
