October 1, 2016 conch season bus open

Conch season runs from October 1 - June 30th of each year. Conch is a common name that is applied to a number of different medium to large-sized shells. The term generally applies to large snails whose shell has a high spire and a noticeable siphonal canal (in other words, the shell comes to a noticeable point at both ends).

In North America, a conch is often identified as a queen conch, found off the coast of Florida. Queen conches are valued for fish bait, and are also known as seafood.

The group of conchs that are sometimes referred to as "true conchs" are marine gastropod molluscs in the family Strombidae, specifically in the genus Strombus and other closely related genera. For example, see Lobatus gigas, the queen conch, and Laevistrombus canarium, the dog conch.

Many other species are also often called "conch", but are not at all closely related to the family Strombidae, including Melongena species (family Melongenidae), and the horse conch Triplofusus giganteus…

Many already know that the Northern Highway that connects Belize to Orange Walk is a hustle bustle getting into and out of the city.  Traffic delays you by 20-30 minutes with highly traffic delay. Its not funny when it comes to driving in the area, especially when you are entering the Ladyville village which I see a lot of constructions are being build. Soon Ladyville  well become a town more than a village. And more people are settling in this area to build commercial businesses or people who lives away from the city are living here. Everyone heads to the City to go work, shopping, travel, pay bills, visit, pass by, and more.

Now that the Northern Highway is being upgraded, more and more traffic accident are occurring. Heavy traffic are slowed down, Due to the narrow road that causes a lot of accidents.  Building a road by workers' are now widening the road which will be safer to travel.  I travelled to Belize and the morning was Isolated heavy rains continuously stopped and rain.…
